Where to start . . .
My web name is sakuraember (partially based on none other than Cardcaptor Sakura, one of my favorite anime and manga), my nickname is Cindy. {bows} I’ve lived in the southwest of the United States all my life, aside from 18 months I spent in Brazil. I am conversational in Portuguêse, and am trying to learn Japanese. It’s going very slowly.
I graduated with my BA in International Politics from Brigham Young University and my MLS (Masters of Library Science) from the Uuniversity of Arizona. I hope to find a job soon.
I got into anime in high school (Ronin Warriors and Sailor Moon), then in college discovered the delights of manga. Then in 2007, a friend introduced me to Saiunkoku Monogatari. It was love at first sight. And since I love it so much and there are no good fan sites out there (and since this is a good exercise for me) this is my contribution.
When I have free time, I like to read, particularly fantasy and science fiction. I also like watching those genres. You can read all about it if you actually want to on my blog (where I review mostly what I read, occasionally what I watch, and anything else that I find interesting) or on my personal website , which also includes information on libraries. I also like cross stitching, crocheting, knitting, and singing.
I am also on LiveJournal. If you actually want to friend me, or contact me to comment on this site or have found errors, broken links, etc., you can contact me at sakuraember*@*yahoo.com. Just take the two stars out. And while critiques are welcome, lets keep everything civil, please. Domo arigatou.

All the text and translations were done by me unless otherwise noted, in which case the author has been duly noted and it belongs to them. All screen caps were captured by me, pictures of products are only intended for purposes of clarification.
